Learn, Make & Take -- Tea for Comfort & Wellness
As the days grow shorter and cooler, there's nothing quite like a warm cup of herbal tea. In this hands-on workshop, you'll discover how herbs can be thoughtfully combined to create flavorful blends that support everyday wellness.
Learn about the roles of base herbs, supporting botanicals, and aromatic accents while exploring herbs traditionally used to promote relaxation, seasonal wellness and overall comfort. You'll also learn simple techniques for balancing flavor, aroma, and function when creating your own blends.
Each participant will create a custom loose-leaf herbal tea blend to take home, along with recipes and brewing tips to continue experimenting in their own kitchen.

LOCATION: Westgate Community Center, 10001 De Vargas SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121
Please note:
~ This class is for people who are 18 years of age or older. Childcare is not available at the community center. Please plan accordingly.
~ Pre-registration is required so we have enough materials on hand. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Registration will close on September 22nd
~ Registration on or before September 15th will be $20.00 per person. Registration will be $25.00 thereafter.
~ Per the City of Albuquerque, if you do not have a community center pass, you will need to sign-up for one prior to participating. They are free! Please allow a few extra minutes before class to sign up for a community center pass.
