LOCATION: Westgate Community Center, 10001 De Vargas SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121Nurture you skin and save money by making your own herbal body scrubs!
In this learn, make and take workshop, we will discuss various natural ingredients and herbs for the skin and what their benefits are.
Each attendee will then make a Rosemary & Mint Salt Body Scrub and a Honey and Rosehips Sugar Body Scrub.
All materials will be provided in class including containers, herbs, essential oils and other ingredients needed to make two natural body scrubs. Recipes will be provided so attendees can use their new knowledge and make these scrubs for personal use or for gifts. Please bring a notebook and pen if you like to take notes. Otherwise, just bring a ready to learn attitude!
Please note:
- This class is for people who are 18 years of age or older. Childcare is not available at the community center. Please plan accordingly.
- Pre-registration is required so we have enough materials on hand. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Registration will close on November 11th
- Registration on or before October 31st will be $20.00 per person. Registration will be $30.00 per person thereafter.
- Per the City of Albuquerque, if you do not have a community center pass, you will need to sign-up for one prior to participating. They are free!
