Join The Mahjong Mingle for a welcoming two-evening introduction to American Mahjong at Beyond the Brow in Livonia.
This event is designed for brand-new players who are ready to learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong in a relaxed, welcoming setting. During the first session, you’ll learn the tiles, the NMJL card, game setup, the Charleston and the basic flow of play. During the second session, we’ll review what you learned, answer questions and continue with guided play so the game begins to feel natural.
No prior experience is needed. Premium tiles, racks, mats and teaching materials will be provided.
Wine and light snacks will be available during both evenings.
No experience is necessary. Everything is provided. Just bring your curiosity!
