Salsa Level 1 – Build the Foundation Every Great Dancer Needs
New to salsa? This is exactly where you should start.
Salsa Level 1 is designed for anyone who wants to learn salsa the right way. Don’t let the word “Beginner” fool you, this class is all about building the strong foundation every great social dancer needs.
In Salsa Level 1, you’ll learn:
✅ The 5 fundamental salsa patterns that form the foundation of your dancing.
✅ How to confidently lead or follow.
✅ How to stay on timing with the music.
✅ Proper technique, connection, and confidence on the dance floor.
This is the most important class in the SalsaEddy program because everything you learn in future levels is built on these 5 patterns.
This is a 3 week consecutive program. Attend one class per week for three consecutive weeks, with each class lasting 1 hour. At the end of Week 3, you’ll be evaluated to determine if you’re ready to move on to Salsa Level 2.
At SalsaEddy, we don’t pass students based on attendance, we pass them when they’re ready. My goal isn’t just to teach you salsa, it’s to help you become the best social dancer you can be.
