Curious about learning German but not ready to commit to a full course? This relaxed, one-time trial lesson lets adult beginners experience a real German4FUN class before deciding whether to continue.

No previous German knowledge is required. Gesa, a native German speaker with more than 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience, will guide you through your first German words and phrases in a calm, supportive setting.

What you’ll learn:

• Basic German greetings
• How to introduce yourself
• First pronunciation essentials
• Simple phrases you can use right away

What to expect:

This is a live, interactive 90-minute class—not a lecture. You’ll practice speaking in a friendly small group, ask questions, and get a genuine feel for the German4FUN teaching style. Mistakes are welcome, and nobody is expected to speak perfectly.

Worksheets, water, and a homemade pretzel are included. Bring a pen if you like; everything else will be provided.

If you enjoy the lesson, you’ll have the option to continue with the eight-week Beginner 1 course beginning the following week. There is no subscription, obligation, or pressure to continue.
