Learn A Skill/ Share A Skill is back at Stockroom on September 24th where due to popular demand we will be bringing back Chainmail basics for a second session!
Did you know that some crafts can be endangered? Maille making dates back to the 4th century in the UK, but it is considered critically endangered on the heritage craft red list.
In this Learn A Skill / Share A Skill session, we will be exploring the basics of chainmail making, including turning jump rings into simple chains. The session will include using pliers to form rings, and it may be challenging for those with limited dexterity.
Learn a Skill / Share a Skill is one of Stockroom Socials, taking place every other month. Each session, different people are invited to share a skill, from the practical basics to niche creative techniques!
