About this Event
Join us for our next Lean Café at the BHT Startup Hub, where we are thrilled to welcome two distinguished speakers: Claudia Koerner, former Executive Assistant at Atlantic Labs VC, and Alexandre Kantjas, Co-Founder of 9X. This session will focus on tools and techniques for automation tailored for startups, offering insights from both a Venture Capital Executive Assistant managing a startup portfolio and an experienced founder with a background in rapidly scaling startups.
Agenda
We will explore essential considerations for startups to set up efficient and secure automation processes from the outset. This includes operations, sales, marketing, and product development, enabling startups to concentrate on the most critical aspect—winning customers and achieving growth.
Meet the Speakers
Claudia Koerner
Claudia is an administrative professional with 20 years of experience working with founders and C-suite executives at companies like SoundCloud and Contentful. Over the past five years, she has been with Atlantic Labs, a Berlin-based seed fund VC, supporting the company as it expanded from 15 to 50 employees. Claudia has a proven track record in leading and supporting large projects in workplace/office management, business administration, and visual corporate design. She is a strong advocate for automation and workflow optimization and is currently delving into no-code and low-code applications while studying Full Stack Web Development and building her freelance offerings.
Alexandre has extensive experience in business development and operations for various fast-scaling startups in Berlin, including Solaris Bank, Circula, and payleven. In 2021, he co-founded 9X, a company dedicated to helping operators automate and digitalize their processes without relying on developers. The 9X team comprises operators with a decade of experience in multiple technology companies, from early-stage to growth-stage ventures, across various functions such as Operations, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, and Product.Alexandre and his team believe that operational excellence, alongside a great product and sales engine, defines the long-term success of a startup. They work with founders and companies aiming to redefine industries, helping them realize their ambitions through automation and digitalization.
- Failed Early Attempts at Using Web Technologies: Alexandre and his team faced challenges in implementing ideas due to limited tech resources, leading to delays and inefficiencies.
- Discovery of No-Code Tools: In 2020, they began experimenting with no-code tools, which allowed operators to build and automate processes independently, transforming various business functions.
- Future of No-Code: Alexandre envisions a future where many work processes are replaced by automated workflows, and employees become builders, creating custom internal tools and experimenting with technology to improve operations.
This Lean Café session is a unique opportunity to gain practical insights into automation for startups from two seasoned professionals. Whether you're a founder, operator, or part of a startup team, you'll leave with actionable strategies to streamline your processes and drive growth. Don't miss out on this chance to learn from the best and network with like-minded individuals.
