Join the League City Parks and Recreation Department for a “smashing” good time at the first-ever “Pumpkin Palooza” on Sunday, November 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Hometown Heroes Park.Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their leftover Halloween pumpkins to be composted. There will also be a variety of fun, family-friendly activities, including
• Pumpkin Smashing Station
• Pumpkin Weighing Contest
• Pumpkin Tossing Competition (various age divisions)
• Kids Costume Contest (2:30 p.m.)
• Games, Food Trucks, Environmental Educational Booths, and More!
All pumpkin and pumpkin remnants will be collected and composted to help reduce waste and enrich the soil.
