About this Event
Every year, LEAF celebrates Equality Day across Canada – commemorating the historic implementation of the Sections 15 and 28 in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, enshiring consitutional equality for all under the law. To mark this ocassion, LEAF London invites you to attend an evening event at Bear & Frankie's (Downtown London) to engage, connect, and learn with others in the community. Drinks and appetizers will be provided at the event.
Our moderated panel discussion and Q&A will focus on how our legal system can better support survivors of sexual violence, including the different pathways to justices which are often available (criminal, civil, and restorative). We are honored to be joined by the following distinguished panelists:
