Last month, community members gathered for a #GGSDCommunityLeadership conversation with Ed O’Malley. The conversation centred on a simple but challenging idea: Leadership is a activity, not a position.It sparked an excellent and lively conversation about how progress happens — and who is responsible for it. We had a great mix of community members in the room. This next session builds on that.
If leadership is something you do — not something you are — then:
· what might that mean for Alice Springs?
· how would things be different if more of us took that seriously?
· and what might we each do differently?
What to expect:
This is a facilitated, participatory and high-energy session. You’ll have the chance to:
· connect with others
· share and hear different perspectives
· explore what this looks like in practice
· reflect on what it might mean for you
We’ll keep things moving, interactive, and relevant to our town and our lives.

This is part of an ongoing series of #GGSD Community Leadership conversations. It sits within a broader effort to strengthen the community’s capacity to create its own future.
