About this Event
'Change is the only constant' feels particularly apt as we navigate a period of significant political change, an evolving built environment sector, and growing pressure to accelerate progress on sustainability. For leaders, this shifting landscape brings new challenges – but also new opportunities to influence, engage, and lead with impact.
Designed specially for the UKGBC Leadership Alumni, we’ll bring everyone together to explore what these changes mean for our sector and for sustainability leadership. We’ll begin by hearing leading insights into the latest political and industry landscape, considering the forces shaping the built environment and the implications for those seeking to drive change.
We’ll then turn insight into action through an interactive exploration of the role of storytelling in effective leadership. We’ll consider how to communicate with clarity and purpose, bring others with us, and make the case for sustainability in a changing and sometimes challenging context.
Alongside the learning, there will be plenty of opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, exchange perspectives, and learn from the experiences of others across the network.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape you’re leading in, practical storytelling approaches to strengthen your influence, and renewed connections with a community committed to transforming the built environment.

This event is designed for Alumni of UKGBC’s Leadership Programmes including Future Leaders, Change Accelerator, Recalibrate and Systems Change. Whether you work in sustainability, strategy, policy, design, development, construction or another part of the built environment, join us to connect with peers and strengthen how you lead and influence change.
