About this Event
The Lake County Office of Education is hosting an interactive professional development opportunity, presented by Eric Preston, of Keenan & Associates, designed to help leaders support mental health and foster psychological safety in the workplace. This training is open to administrators, managers, and supervisors from any school district within Lake County who wish to strengthen their leadership approach and promote well-being among their teams.
Today’s workplaces are more mentally and emotionally demanding than ever before. Effective leadership now requires the ability to build environments where employees feel valued, trusted, and supported. This session will provide practical tools to identify and address psychological safety risks, strengthen emotional intelligence, and promote overall well-being throughout your organization.

- Recognizing psychological safety risks
- Emotional Intelligence 101
- Creating frameworks for total worker health
- Case studies and real-world strategies
