Leadership book club for USF staff & faculty exploring The Five Dysfunctions of a Team and building trust, accountability & collaboration.
About this Event

The Bishop Center for Ethical Leadership in partnership with the Muma Values Council presents a a leadership-focused book club for university staff and faculty. For our first book, we will explore The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni. This engaging and thought-provoking read dives into the common challenges that hinder effective teamwork, and, more importantly, how to overcome them.

Through guided discussions, real-world examples, and shared experiences, participants will reflect on how trust, communication, accountability, and collaboration show up in academic and administrative settings. Whether you’re part of a department, committee, or cross-functional initiative, this book club offers practical insights to strengthen team culture and improve outcomes across campus.

Come ready to connect, exchange ideas, and leave with actionable strategies to build stronger, more cohesive teams in your everyday work.

This program will be offered in an in‑person format, with the Tampa and St. Petersburg campuses connecting virtually to enable discussion and collaboration across locations.
