Leadership for Healthy Teams Workshop
With the new regulations in place For today’s leaders, developing the softer practical skills around supporting their teams to be at their best, and discerning when their team members’ wellbeing is being impacted is vital in achieving a productive workplace. Healthy organisations recognise the benefit of investing in their Leaders to ensure they are prioritising their own wellbeing and also improving their capability to support the health and wellbeing of their teams.
This one day workshop aims to provide leaders with practical skills to keep themselves, the organisation and their teams healthy now and into the future.
After this training it is expected that participants will be able to:
- Identify or refresh the early warning signs for compromised wellbeing
- Understand the importance of staying connected and ensuring regular check ins
- Plan and carry out wellbeing conversations
- Be aware of referral resources available to employees.
- Be aware of processes and procedures and when to escalate.
- To understand the importance of building resilience in yourself and your teams
- Understand the value in investing in your own mental and physical health first.
- Understand how to boost protective factors in your teams
Workshop – 1 day @ Align Work Health - Albury
Morning session:
Introduction to the concepts of early warning signs of compromised wellbeing at the individual level. Prevention and Early intervention tools for managers when working with individuals with compromised wellbeing.
- Mental Health & the workplace

- Structures and routines that support wellbeing and performance such as regular check ins
- Having an early intervention conversation
- Job crafting and coaching.
- Identifying reasonable adjustments, keeping people at work and people manager role in RTW processes.
- Responsibilities when wellbeing is impacting performance
- Coaching through practical examples
Afternoon session:
Identifying early warning signs of compromise at the team level. Key role of people leaders in providing a safe, healthy and thriving work environment for their team. Apply the concepts utilising processes and procedures with opportunities for practical application with current challenges.
