Leaders & Readers: Twenty Minutes Is the New Hour w/ Fran Hauser
About this Event
Join us in kicking off Crazy Story Books and Coasst's career-advice series, Leaders & Readers with the release of Fran Hauser's new book Twenty Minutes Is the New Hour.
Women carry a different kind of time load—one that adds up in ways that aren’t always visible but deeply felt. Often, these responsibilities cause them to fall prey to what Fran Hauser calls “The 4 P's”: people-pleasing, perfectionism, procrastination, and (time) padding. Left unchecked, these four barriers to productivity can lead to burnout and inefficiency. But when we start to pay attention to these patterns, we begin to change our relationship with time.
Now, in her new book Twenty Minutes Is the New Hour (Penguin Random House, on-sale September 22, 2026) Hauser shows professional women how to embrace a “twenty-minute mindset” to create more time and space for themselves and their most meaningful work.
Fran Hauser is a bestselling-author of The Myth of the Nice Girl, a leading career expert and vocal champion of women in the workplace. She was formally President of Digital at Time Inc., and a startup investor. Fran owns Bedford Books, an independent bookshop in Bedford, New York.
Ticket price includes food, refreshments, and a signed copy of Twenty Minutes Is the New Hour.
