Sergio Castillo Jr. was born and raised in South Texas by his mom, grandmother, and two aunts, where from a young age, he was taught faith, discipline, and what it means to keep going, even when things don’t go your way.
Sergio’s professional football career began in 2014 with the Atlanta Falcons, and over the past 12 years he has played for several teams in Canada and the US. Currently the kicker for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Sergio won a Grey Cup with Winnipeg in 2021 and earned CFL All-Star honours with the BC Lions in 2019. He holds CFL records including the longest field goal made (63 yards) and the most 50-plus-yard field goals in a season.
Despite facing injury and various setbacks, his mindset remains steadfast. Sergio refuses to think small, determined to show up every day with purpose, even when nobody is watching. This same philosophy of discipline, faith, and consistency is the foundation of his apparel brand, Swing Chingón. Beyond his success, his primary devotion is to his faith and his role as a husband and a father to his two children.
