Leader & Growth Workshop Series
About this Event
This event page represents a series of three separate trainings. Please ensure you choose the correct ticket when purchasing.
Critical Thinking & Creative Problem Solving Date/Time: Wed., Oct. 14 from 12:00-5:00 PM
We live in a knowledge-based world, and the sharper your thinking, the more value you can extract from the information around you. This workshop builds the mental discipline to separate fact from assumption, question bias, and reason your way to sound conclusions. Through real-world challenges, group discussion, and practical tools — from SWOT analysis to root-cause questioning — participants leave with a personal action plan for thinking more clearly, communicating more persuasively, and solving problems more creatively, on the job and beyond.
Leadership for First-Time Supervisors Date/Time: Oct. 7 & 14 from 8:00-10:00 AM
This workshop focuses on how to better lead your employees to a higher performance. Leadership for first-time supervisors is a process of relationship building and setting goals. How well you lead, teach, develop and coach relates directly to how well you are able to foster a great working relationship with your employees through understanding them and strategic goal setting.
An easy-to-understand leadership coaching model taught in this workshop will guide you through the process. Prepare yourself to change a few things about yourself in order to lead your employees to better a performance.
This training also will help participants navigate and transition from former peer into supervisor position.
Employee Evaluations and Critical Conversations Date/Time: Wed., Oct. 21 & 28 from 8:00-10:00 AM
This course will teach learners to create environments of open communication, where people can speak with candor and with respect. Good communication skills and vulnerability open the doors to honest conversations. Learn to value input, promote winning ideas, increase efficiency, and create support around a central direction that aligns with strategy. Gain the ability to address divisive issues while sharing opinions, feelings, and information safely and freely.
