The Women's Fund Lead the Change annual event on Friday, October 18 will feature keynote speaker DAWN STALEY.While she needs little introduction, allow us to celebrate her accomplishments. Dawn Staley is a Hall of Fame player and coach. She’s currently the head coach of the reigning women’s basketball champions, the South Carolina Gamecocks. She’s also a three-time Olympic gold medal winner and coach. Oh, and she played professional basketball, too.
At the event, the Women’S Fund will recognize local nonprofits and leaders working to advance our mission, share an update on the state of gender equity in Nebraska, and award grants to programs that make a positive impact on the lives of those who experience gender-based oppression.
