LDPhotoWalk: Beaumaris Lake

Join our London Drugs Photowalk at Beaumaris Lake August 29th at 6pm! For all ages and levels of experience, both cameras and cell phones welcome.

Beaumaris Lake is a man made water reserve park that opened in 1979. The trail around measures 2.7km with very little incline, and is completely wheelchair accessible. The park is known to be full of birds, including ducks and pelicans during the summer. This makes it a beautiful spot for walking, bird watching and definitely photography.

Ask our knowledgeable staff for tips and tricks to get the best photos possible with your equipment, or get some pretty wildlife shots of the birds and trees. Or just come out and make some new friends!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is plenty of public parking near the Castle Downs Public Library at 15379 Castle Downs Rd NW. We will be meeting in the concourse behind the library, next to the lake.

What can I bring into the event?

Enthusiasm and a camera! You may bring any additional photography equipment you wish. The idea is to get out of the house and shoot some photos!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. We are only asking for registration so we can gauge interest and the number of people attending.
