We’ll never get tired of making mini bookcases, but it’s time to go just a little bigger — a mini bookstore! If you’ve ever daydreamed about opening your own bookshop, or just love lingering among the shelves, join us to create the perfect little bookish happy place.

Who knows, this may be the beginning of a whole street of small-town shops! A coffee shop, a yarn shop, a bakery. Let’s build the street from your favorite small-town books.

The workshop includes:

• A wooden townhouse-style birdhouse (approximately 4x5x7 inches).
• Paint, paper, mini books, tiny coffee mugs, beads, charms, plants, and other miniatures and embellishments to create your custom bookshop. Bring your own bits and bobs if there’s something special you want to include.
• All tools, adhesives and other supplies.
• Inspiration, book chat and creative fuel (i.e., snacks!).

P.S. “LCW Book Club” is just our designation for our book-ish craft projects. Don’t worry, you don’t need to read a specific book or even be prepared to talk about books in any kind of formal way. It’s just our no-pressure, crafty “club” for people who love books and book-related things.

This workshop is open to crafters 13 to adult.
