Interested in exploring a new craft without investing a lot of money until you're sure it's the right fit? Maybe you're downsizing or moving and have lovely craft-related items seeking new homes. Look no further! Join us at LCL's Getting Crafty for our Annual 'Fall Craft Exchange' on Thursday, September 19th at 12:30 PM.The ‘Fall Craft Exchange’ is an event where new and gently used art & craft materials are exchanged . Community members are encouraged to trade secondhand supplies, all of which are available for free.
Items for the ‘Fall Craft Exchange’ may be dropped off at the Lee County Library (107 Hawkins Ave., Sanford) now through September 18th during open hours. Please only bring items that are in good condition that you would want to bring home (see guidelines below).
This event is open to everyone, and registration is not required. Craft Exchange participants will be limited to one bag (provided by LCL Staff) to fill with supplies to take home during the exchange. This will ensure that all participants are able to leave with something to start their next craft project!
Any items left after the swap can be utilized for future library programs or donated.
Questions? Contact LCL Staff at (919) 718-4665.
Guidelines:
-Please do not bring completed crafts to exchange or items to sell

-Donated items should be good, clean, and usable (no opened paint/glue containers)
-Limit 1 bag to fill with supplies per person
-Any items left at the end of the program can be reclaimed by the donor or will be considered a donation to the library
