Conservation organization members, and anybody that wants to learn more about LCCC are welcome to join us at Oakland Nature Preserve as we learn more about Florida's wetland environments and restoration efforts happening at Lake Apopka. As an added bonus, the museum at the center will be open for a private walkthrough afterwards. We'll adjorn to Plant Street Market in Oakland for socializing.
Be sure to wear comfortable hiking attire and bring water and snacks appropriate for this warm Florida weather.
