Laurier Badminton Club will be hosting our annual Open Winter Tournament on SATURDAY, March 15th, 2025! If you're looking to test your skills and participate in some friendly competition, come join us for a fun day filled with exciting games, snacks, and amazing prizes!

FEES AND REGISTRATION
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 at 11:59PM
EARLY BIRD DEADLINE: Monday, March 24th, 2025 at 11:59PM
If you register before the early bird deadline, you will receive an extra raffle ticket to be entered into the draw for raffle prizes!
Participants: $35 for one event, $50 for two events
Registration is based on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis and will be capped at 32 pairs.
Both partners must be registered in order to be entered into the tournament.
If you do not have a partner, you may request a partner and we will do our best to pair you up with another player.
In the event that you do not get matched with a partner, you will receive an email and you will be refunded.
Note: Refunds could take up to 180 days. Please email us to request a refund!
EVENT DETAILS
We will be hosting games for Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. CAPPED AT 32 PAIRS!
The format of the games will be ABC FLIGHT SYSTEM.
You will be guaranteed at least two matches per event, and matches will be played best two out of three games. Prizes will be presented to the winners and finalists of each flight!
Two feather birds will be provided for all matches. Additional birds can be purchased from the draw desk for $3 each. Additional birds can only be purchased for tournament play.
EVENT SCHEDULE
Sign up and Warm Up: 9:15AM - 10:00AM
Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles: 10:00AM - 2:30PM
Mixed Doubles: 3:00PM - 8:00PM (approximate end of play)
