Aubre Hill Productions is THRILLED to announce a BRAND NEW community hafla series right here in Long Beach, California!!! LBC RAQS is a celebration of SWANA dance, music, and community! Featuring amateur to professional dancers, soloists to ensemble, Raqs Sharqi to Folkloric to Cabaret. This is where we come together to be inspired, try new things, and lean into the joy of being together.
LBC Raqs is a quarterly community performance. Each performance is themed to enhance creativity and connectivity. If you are interested in performing, please email me at [email protected] a synopsis of what you would like to do in the theme of HABIBI for our first hafla Saturday, February 7th, 2026.
Taking submissions NOW! Artists will be announced starting February 1st!!!
