Layang Layang: Kretekklang's Sunday Afternoon

“Layang Layang" (Indonesian/Malay for kites), a party organized by Kretekklang, will bring back the nostalgic afternoons of Indonesian childhood, where Sundays were spent flying kites and hanging with friends before the sun sets. There’s a carefree joy in letting go and feeling the wind carry you, as you lose yourself in the rhythm and the moment. We're returning to OXI on Sunday, the 24th of November with an all Asian DJ lineup to accompany our sunday afternoon together. Walk down memory lane with us and dive into nostalgia.

KRETEKKLANG is a collective and party organising committee dedicated to showcasing the under represented musical talents of Asia, particularly South-East Asia. We aim to create and nurture a safe space where everybody can be themselves! We expect everyone to contribute to creating safe environment at all times and will immediately take action if that isn’t the case.

Furthermore we do not tolerate any form of racism / sexism / homophobia / transphobia or any other forms of discrimination!
