You are invited to participate in a community walk-through of the Lawrence Street: Harrison to Walker project corridor. This event will be an opportunity for community members to share their thoughts about the corridor design. Adjacent property owners may also weigh in about considerations for their individual properties. Additionally, this walk-through will be a chance for the public to meet City staff and the engineering consultant involved with the project design.

Time: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Where: Meet outside the Fire Station on the NW corner of Lawrence and Harrison Street.
What is being planned for this section of Lawrence Street?
The Lawrence Street Multimodal Improvements Project will reconstruct 1,600 linear feet of Lawrence Street between Harrison and Walker, addressing both subgrade and pavement deterioration. Bike facilities and some landscaping will be included as well. Additionally, the project will repair sidewalks, upgrade accessibility (ADA), and fill in sidewalk gaps, thus completing a fully accessible route from Harrison to Walker Street. Water, sewer, and stormwater utility upgrades will also be completed as part of the project.
