Lawfare & Regulatory Reform Hearing - Medina, OH
About this Event
Office of the National Ombudsman want to hear directly from small business owners — farmers, ranchers, and manufacturers — about what they've been dealing with from federal regulators, in their own words. The hearings are joint events with the Office of Advocacy, which carries the regulatory analysis and the Regulatory Flexibility Act record; our office carries the hearing, case intake, and agency follow-up. We're also relaunching the Red Tape Hotline, with calling cards handed out at each hearing.
What the room will cover
- Workplace-safety inspections and citations at small manufacturing plants
- Air-permitting and emissions requirements for small industrial sources
- Federal procurement and supply-chain requirements reaching stamping and machining suppliers
- Recordkeeping and reporting burdens carried by small industrial employers
