The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics will be held on Tuesday, April 15th! Muster time will be 9:30 am and the run will begin promptly at 10:00 am. As always, we will meet in front of the main office (15 Oak Street) and run down Oak, Cedar, and Ochlocknee Streets, ending at the Courthouse. You’ll need to have a current shirt if you wish to participate in this year’s run. Shirts are currently for sale in the front lobby of the Sheriff’s Office, and are $25 (the price is set by the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics (LETR), and all proceeds go to them). Checks can be made out to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office. You must pay prior to receiving a shirt. Do not wait to get your shirt as we have limited supplies and a short window to order more! Feel free to join in walking if you do not wish to run, or you may make a donation in support of this is a great event to support a great cause and we look forward to seeing you there.
