Gerrish Township PD will be hosting their annual Law Enforcement Torch Run on September 9, 2025.The event will start at the Gerrish Township Police Department and end at the South Higgins Lake State Park Boat Basin/Pavilion Area.
This is a 5K run, walk, bicycle event that will start at 6:00 pm with registration beginning at 5:00 pm.
Registration fee is $30.00 per person and will include a Flame of Hope T-shirt. Dog registration is $10.00 and will also include a shirt.
A link will be available shortly so that you can register on-line and your shirt will be mailed directly to you or you can also register at the Gerrish Township Police Department.
This event raises money for Special Olympics Michigan to help pay for our local athletes to attend the games.
We are currently selling the blue "Sale" T-shirt (design shown in Event photo) and challenge coins to help raise money towards our community event.
Shirts are $20.00 each and coins are $10.00 each and are available at the Gerrish Township Police Department.
