Law & Order Comedy turns laughter into law as attorneys, former criminals, and law enforcement bring hilarity to the often "not funny” criminal justice system. This one of a kind show is a co-production of Improbable Comedy & Seven Black Minutes.

Co-Creator & Host Anthony Oakes hailing from North Carolina, is a District of Columbia resident who is taking comedy and storytelling on the east coast by storm. A natural comedian, Anthony has hit the ground running. His clean, yet edgy, southern, intellectual, witty humor will have you reeling with laughter. He is the creator of Seven Black Minutes.

Jasmine Burton is an attorney and comedian from Los Angeles, California currently living in Washington, DC. A blend of west coast and east coast swagger, Jasmine is best known for her high energy, punchlines, and hilarious infusion of the law and her life experience into her comedy. Jasmine brings an edgy, witty, and intellectual humor that keeps her audiences at the edge of their seat… or falling out of them.

Elizabeth Booker Houston is an up-and-coming standup comedian who hails from Memphis, Tennessee and now calls the DC metro area home. Her comedy style is primarily political and dark humor, influenced heavily by her day job as a lawyer. She has performed at the DC Comedy Loft Approved Show, Nerd Nite DC, The Pocket DC, DC Comedy Clubhouse, and Ugly Mug. When Elizabeth is not on stage, you can find her making jokes and witty commentary on Instagram and TikTok under the handle bookersquared.

Justin “Justo” Brooks is a professional comedian and writer. His witty, energetic, and thought provoking comedy is definitely a must see. In 2020 he has won first place in 3 comedy competitions including the 2020 Magoobys New Comedian of the Year. In 2021 Justo has won a spot at the famous Laugh Factory by winning first place in the club’s open mic competition. He has also opened and hosted shows for Tony Woods, Erik Rivera (HBO), Rodney Perry, Dominique, and other comics seen on Netflix, HBO, and Comedy Central. His experiences has helped shaped his humor and outlook on life and has quickly risen to be one of the hottest young comedians out of the DMV area.

Timmy Hall is a retired Baltimore City Police Officer with an original style that sets him apart from the rest, Timmy Hall finds a way to bring that part of his life on stage. Known around the country as the “Comic Cop”, he is considered a comedy rising star. His high energy and witty material will have you laughing from the first moment you see him perform. He has garnered the respect of some of the most well-known comics in the business.

Timmy has been seen on BET’S Coming to the Stage, BET’S Comic View, HBO’S DEF COMEDY JAM and BET’S One Mic Stand. He has also performed in some of the most prestigious comedy clubs across the country. He had been blessed to share the stage with well known comics such as Kevin Hart, Lavell Crawford, Michael Colyar, Deon Cole, Robert Townsend, D L Hughley, JB Smoove and the legendary John Witherspoon, just to name a few. Timmy has also shared the airwaves with the legendary Donnie Simpson - best known for Video Soul - serving as his co-host on Majic 102.3.

About Improbable Comedy:
Founded in 2012 by social-worker-turned-comedy-producer , Improbable Comedy has hosted more than 150 shows in local venues around the DMV. The goal has been to transform the industry by giving the mic to hilarious comedians who have been underrepresented on stage. Since our first show at Vicino's restaurant, we have brought big laughs to theatres, bars, swanky clubs, and people's homes. We now have regular shows at Busboys & Poets and the Arts Barn as well as partnerships with the Montgomery Parks Department and at the Silver Spring Black Box Theatre.
