Lavender Market: Melt the Ice!

Lavender Market is a recurring art + free resources market hosted and organized by lesbian event group Lez Night Out!

Join us April 4th for our Lavender Market of the spring season! Featuring 16+ vendors, cute community crafts, resources + tools to help you protect your neighbors, raffles/giveaways, and yummy drinks/treats from Boyfriend Co Op... you won’t want to miss it! All vendors at this market will be donating a portion of their total sales to help fundraise for families affected by ICE, as well as all proceeds from our raffle (after event expenses have been covered!).

Please note this event is 18+!!!

We aim to showcase a diverse variety of lesbian artists/makers, as well as resources like free masks/tests/PPE. This market will feature all sorts of goods + services, be sure to stop by and check out our...

We will also be hosting a raffle with a total estimated value of $600+!

Lavender Market is a place to meet new friends, support your local community (while scoring yourself some cool art + trinkets in the process!), and come together for fun group activities like our rotating community craft. We’ll be bringing lots of supplies for this upcoming market.... so come craft with us! :)

Boyfriend Co-Op is located off the M + J trains and the B46 + B47 + B54 + B15 busses.

Boyfriend’s door/entrance and bathroom are both wheelchair accessible! Here is the venue’s ADA statement they have very kindly provided to us:

“The venue is fully ADA compliant, including step-free entry and an accessible restroom. There are no stairs on-site. Masks will be available upon request to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.”

High-filtration masks/respirators (KN95 or better) will be required and provided for all attendees. This is a cafe/bar, so there will be drinks available. Since this is a CC event, we expect folks to keep their masks on while not drinking. Unfortunately we cannot require non market patrons of the bar to mask, so please feel free to stay home if that is too high risk for you. If you are feeling sick (even if you don’t think it’s COVID), have recently been exposed, or in a high-risk situation, we ask that you please stay home! This is how we keep each other safe.

We will have a handful of local lesbian vendors at this event! Vendor lineup TBA. :)
