This session is perfect for beginners who are curious about:

• FRS/GMRS handheld radios
• Affordable, easy-to-use communication options (no tech background needed)

We’ll cover:

• Popular, readily available devices and radios
• How to use standalone LoRa nodes
• How to use nodes connected to the Meshtastic phone app
• DIY LoRa node kit options
• Setting up secure (encrypted) Meshtastic channels
• Using FRS/GMRS radios for short-range communication
• Antenna choices and basic troubleshooting
