Our first selection is Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe, an award-winning graphic memoir that follows Kobabe's journey of exploring eir gender identity, coming to understand being nonbinary and asexual, and finding the language to express who e are. Through honest storytelling and beautiful illustrations, the book explores identity, self-discovery, family, and belonging.
Because it's a graphic novel, it's a quick and approachable read, making it a great choice whether you're a lifelong book lover or looking to get back into reading.
