Lavender Dream : 1-Day Herbal Retreat in Half Moon Bay

In this daylong herbal retreat we will explore the 67 acres of stunning landscape, and connect with both the wild and cultivated plants, to make some herbal remedies together.

• Our time together will include an introduction to the farm, as well as a plant walk in the gardens, and we’ll also get to harvest fresh lavender and calendula as well as some wild medicinal plants like plantain leaf.
• We will begin the steps to make a fresh fragrant lavender oil, as well as a healing and soothing calendula salve, and you will also get to take home some additional lavender, calendula and additional herbs for use in teas, sachets, baths and more.
• Our day together will also include a farm to table vegetarian lunch highlighting the fresh produce grown at Ananda Valley Farm, and a one hour lunch break.
• You’ll also get the chance to take home a freshly made hydrosol and essential oil from the on-site still.

All are welcome to this retreat whether you have any experience making herbal products or not! Our time together will be informative, interactive and a lot of fun!

About the Farm :
Ananda Valley Farm is nestled amongst hills and canyons on 67 acres of rich farmland in Half Moon Bay, and two miles from the beach. This land has been lovingly farmed for more than 100 years with water available year-round from a mountain-top spring that Native Americans have long considered sacred.
