Laut: Bead with Recycled Treasures
About this Event
Craft your own marine-inspired bag strap with Circa Beads in this hands-on workshop celebrating creativity and conscious making. Using recycled bottle caps, deadstock gems rescued from closed-down Singapore businesses, and a delightful collection of ocean-themed beads—including hand-painted wooden beads and recycled glass sea animal beads—you'll design and assemble a one-of-a-kind custom strap inspired by the sea. Once complete, your handcrafted strap can be used as both a bag strap and a handphone strap.
All hand-beading materials and tools are provided, making this workshop suitable for beginners and craft enthusiasts alike. Each participant will bring home their handcrafted 40 cm custom strap, along with a complimentary Indigo-dyed batik bag and matching headband from our exclusive Laut Collection. Enjoy this workshop at a promotional fee of SGD 80 (usual price: SGD 125).
ABOUT GREEN-HOUSE
GREEN-HOUSE is Singapore's first and largest experiential sustainability festival, organised by Pass It On Studio. It began in 2022 as a pop-up in Geylang's shophouses with 3,600 visitors, and has since found a permanent home at Temasek Shophouse through a three-year partnership, drawing 19,200 visitors in 2025 and targeting more than 20,000 in 2026. Each edition pairs two aims that have deepened year on year: a lighter footprint on the climate, and a kinder, more inclusive society. What started as a weekend pop-up has become a yearly gathering point for sustainable brands, corporate partners, community groups and the public.
