Drawing on her own experiences working as a personal assistant and her working-class roots, Lauren will discuss the inspiration behind the novel, the realities of class in modern Britain, and how a ten-minute play grew into one of the year's most talked-about literary debuts.
Following the talk, Lauren will answer audience questions and sign copies of Service.
