Join us for our 2026 STEM Summer Camp (8/10-8/14) at the Laurel Museum (817 Main St) and Laurel Community Pool Room (901 Main St).

STEM Summer Camp
Date: Monday, August 10th to Friday, August 14th
Time: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM daily
Location: Laurel Community Pool Room & Laurel Museum (additional location information will be sent in the confirmation email)
Cost: FREE (advanced registration is required)


Our STEM Summer Camp will take place August 10th through 14th. Join us at the Laurel Historical Society for this FREE summer camp where rising 3rd to 5th graders can learn about the wonderful and fascinating world of science through hands on activities. Camp will take place on site at the Laurel Community Pool Room (901 Main St) and the Laurel Museum (817 Main St).

Parent/Guardian must complete registration. Space is limited and registation is first-come, first-served and will be limited rising 3rd to 5th graders. Registration will not be considered complete unless each field is correctly filled out and permission is given by the parent or guardian.



Parent/Guardian Acceptance of Program Guidelines
By submitting registration you understand that:

Student selection and participation in this program will be made in order of registration and is first-come, first-served.
I give permission for my child to participate in the STEM Summer Camp program and my registration indicates my acceptance of the following:
My Child must:

  • Arrive promptly at assigned time and follow instruction.
  • Respect staff and other participants.
  • Treat them with courtesy and kindness.
  • Follow safety rules and procedures.
  • Be picked up promptly at the conclusion of each daily session.
    The Parent/Guardian must:
  • Notify the museum by email if child is unable to participate.

I understand that my child may be photographed or filmed as part of a video to be used by the host site for publicity and promotion of the STEM Summer Camp program, on the website, or in social media. In addition, newspapers and television stations may take photographs or film or your child as part of their reporting. Please contact the Laurel Historical Society to directly opt out of the photography/video permission.

I consent to and authorize the use and reproduction by the host site or anyone authorized by the host site, including the media, of any and all videotapes, still pictures, correspondence and sound of my child’s voice for no monetary compensation. The videotapes, photographs and negatives shall become the sole property of the host site, which reserves the right to reproduce or distribute any published materials or any other publication published under the auspices of the host site and to license these rights to others.

I understand that while both the camp and home activities are designed to be safe, neither the host site, nor the teacher, nor the volunteer warrants or can guarantee that an accident will not occur. In consideration for my child’s participation in the STEM Summer Camp program, I agree not to initiate any action against the host site, teacher, volunteer, and to forever refrain from instituting any claims, causes of action, suits or proceedings of any kind for any injury or damage resulting from participation in the STEM Summer Camp program or from use of the take-home materials after the conclusion of the program.

In emergencies requiring immediate medical attention, your child will be taken to the nearest hospital emergency room. Your signature authorizes the responsible person at the program to have your child transported to that hospital.

I hereby understand and consent to the conditions of the STEM Summer Camp program as described above.
