Join us for the Launch Pad Lecture Series, a monthly program that celebrates New Mexico’s unique role in space alongside the broader story of human space exploration. Each first Friday, museum staff and guest speakers from many fields—engineering, astronomy, space operations, history, and more—share engaging talks that highlight the people, places, and ideas that help launch missions beyond Earth.
This free program is held at the New Horizons Dome Theater on the campus of the New Mexico Museum of Space History in Alamogordo and is open to the public. Whether you are a lifelong space enthusiast, an educator, or just curious, you are welcome to be part of the conversation. Coffee and donuts are provided by the International Space Hall of Fame Foundation.
