Are you a change maker? Do you dare to make a difference? Join us at this event on the 13th July 2026 (09:00 – 11:00) to be held at the University of Bradford (Richmond Building/C7). Where we will explore how we can collaborate, co-create, and engineer a distinct breed of thinkers, doers, lifelong learners, leaders, and social change makers and launch this innovative new MSc:

You will be inspired from the aspirations of the speakers we have lined up for the event. They include Chair of All-Party Parliamentary Group of Islamic and Ethical Finance (APPGIEF) who is also Member of Parliament for Bradford West, a Bradfordian qualified lawyer and Shari’ah scholar, academic experts including Fellow Chartered Accountants, and sector practitioners from Ansar Finance, Jabril Network, and City of Doncaster Council.

Engineered within the World Technology Universities Network (WTUN), this MSc degree in Islamic Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence (IFTAI) is first of its kind in the world. It is uniquely transdisciplinary, so that graduates will be strategically prepared to take on boundless opportunities in the Islamic FinTech sector and lead its development; where ethical finance and responsible use of FinTech and AI are in increasing demand.

The Global Islamic Fintech Report estimated that the transaction volume in Islamic FinTech sector was USD 198 billion in 2024/25 and is projected to reach USD 341 billion by 2029, amplifying demands for trusted talents to drive the growth and thought leadership in this space. At our doorsteps are abundance of opportunities to experiment and turn your ideas into workable solutions in co-creating a world of inclusion and equality of opportunity where people want to, and can, make a difference.

Join us to make that difference by working with Bradford’s local and international communities in our mission to drive sustainable social and economic development through outstanding teaching, research, and innovation. This launch event is a pivotal starting point to know each other and explore collaboration.
