Speaker: Gary Grenter
Since November 2017, I’ve been running my own consulting business. Before that, I spent more than 35 years in the industry, with 20 of those years in executive leadership roles. My expertise spans sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, operations, and general management, and I’ve held positions as a president, CEO, and board member. My main focus has always been on medical device startups and early-stage, high-growth companies.
Throughout my career, I’ve been the CEO of five different companies, three of which I founded myself. I have a strong track record of securing funding, having successfully raised both equity and debt capital from venture capitalists, private equity firms, and family offices. One of my most notable achievements was leading the $100 million IPO for Kyphon, a company that was later acquired by Medtronic for $4.2 billion in 2007.
I know what it takes to launch a business from scratch, and I’ve successfully brought new products to market in both the U.S. and globally.
The thing that drives me most is the chance to build a team. There’s nothing more satisfying than watching a group of people work hard, grow, and achieve success together.
