Geo-Microcosms
A deep dive into the earth’s hidden worlds
Julie Stoneman
Geo-Microcosms explores, in extreme close-up, the microscopic crystalline structures within Tasmanian Granite.
The microscopic light refracts through the minerals, amplifying the origins of our landscapes as ‘other worldly’ spaces.
Julie’s colourful and luminous paintings are both micro and macro, with large landscapes seen within the micro detail, creating surreal abstractions inspiring a re-enchantment with the world.
Julie Stoneman is an artist and landscape architect whose work is influenced by both disciplines.

CUSP
Dr Merri Randell
The CUSP exhibition is an immersive, multisensory, embodied, mesmerising audio-visual installation artwork, which celebrates the birth of a respectful, symbiotic relationship between humans and nature.
CUSP is a more-than-human encounter that explores how humans can tune:in to a polyphonic, multi-species, symbiotic reality where diverse perspectives create strong resilient ecologies.
Dr Merri Randell seeks to empower Nature and celebrate diversity through photographing native forests using a cubist approach. These images are combined with sound and motion to create worlds full of beautiful monstrosities to challenge persistent dominant colonial anthropocentric apocalyptic cinematic landscape myths.’

A Happy Medium
Luke Morris
Local artist Luke Morris explored a variety of mediums in his artistic journey before settling on watercolour.
This exhibition showcases a selection of his work, each piece reflecting the satisfaction and joy of creation and a fascination with the movement and texture of paint.

Treading Water
Jillian Farmer
In Treading Water artist Jillian Farmer contemplates the toxic allure of plastic.
Utilising upcycled plastic products, this sculptural installation explores the connection between our all-pervasive plastic use and ecological systems. What is the impact on the environment from this widespread pollution? And, how will living organisms be affected?
Jillian Farmer has worked as an educator and arts facilitator in art therapy for 22 years. Her multidisciplinary art practice includes sculpture, installation, drawing and painting.
