Lauhala Anthurium Workshop

Aloha! Are you ready to get crafty with some Lauhala Anthuriums? Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to create a beautiful Anthurium flower using traditional Lauhala weaving techniques. This event will take place on Saturday October 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Wailuku Hongwanji Mission (Maui, Hi). Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn a new skill and create your own masterpiece! All materials and supplies will be provided along with an additional flower kit to take home and practice what you learn. See you there!

• Due to the work that goes into preparing for a lauhala weaving class, no refunds will be issued for any reason. However, if unable to attend you may have someone attend in your place. Please contact organizer ahead of time to inform.
• Also, due to limited space, no additional guest will be able to be present. Ticket holders only.
• I will also be having a small makeke with lauhala and others goods available for purchase.
• I want everyone to get the most cultural experience possible. Therefore, no photo's or videos will be allowed. Traditionally, ulana lauhala was taught in an oral tradition and I would like to keep the integrity of this art form. You will be able to take photos of your finished masterpiece.
• Please also note that I will be flying into Maui from Oahu and cannot control any unforeseen circumstances. I will post on my Instagram any necessary updates to class. Please follow me @Lauhala.love and turn on notifications. I appreciate your understanding.
• I also will have an second class at 1pm on this same day. Please be sure to purchase tickets that best fit your schedule. I will also be returning to Maui the first Saturday in November with more ulana lauhala workshops. Follow me on IG where I will post info.
