About this Event

MIKE PAYNE is a nationally touring stand-up comedian with over eight years of experience bringing laughter to audiences. Known for his quick wit and engaging humour, Mike has performed at top comedy clubs, including Yuk Yuks, Absolute Comedy, and Rick Bronson’s The Comic Strip. He also hosts "The Stand-Up Show with Mike Payne" his monthly event at the world-famous Comedy Bar.

Mike has shared the stage with legendary comedians like Rick Mercer, Jeremy Hotz, Ali Siddiq, Simon Rakoff, Martha Chaves, Casey Corbin, Jason Rouse, Tyler Morrison, Mike Wilmot, and Aaron Berg. He has featured at major festivals such as The Cottage Country Comedy Festival, The Dirty Bird Comedy Festival, and The Brantford Comedy Festival. Mike was also a winner at the Gemini Comedy Festival.
Beyond stand-up, Mike gained national recognition as the memorable “that’s pretty good” guy in Burger King’s Impossible Whopper commercial (2021).

FRANK RUSSO - Frank has the unique ability to take the mundane and drag it into the absurd. Having performed in comedy clubs and indie shows across Canada for over 14 years, Frank uses his charm, quick wit and intelligent humour to connect with audiences from all walks of life. Now based in Calgary, Frank has previously produced and hosted comedy shows in Toronto and Halifax, performed in festivals including Sudbury Laugh Out Loud festival, The World Series of Comedy, The Thunder Bay Comedy Festival, and has performed across Canada as a member of the DIY Comedy Tour.
