Laugh Island: Where Dating is a BreezeAre you tired of swiping left and right? Ready to trade in those awkward small talk sessions for something a little more... hilarious? Welcome to Laugh Island, where dating meets laughter, and meetcutes are just a punchline away! This unique event is designed to help you meet other singles in a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment that’s all about being silly, spontaneous, and yourself.
Unlike speed-dating, where you have to make up your own conversation, we’re going to guide you through games that completely take the pressure off when meeting someone new. We'll teach you the best tips and tricks from improv to boost your confidence, help you loosen up, think on your feet, and showcase your unique personality. No acting experience required—seriously! We’re not looking for stand-up comedians or seasoned improv pros. This is about having a good time and connecting with others. We’ll guide you through a series of light-hearted, laugh-out-loud games and exercises that are perfect for breaking the ice, sparking creativity, and maybe even igniting a romantic connection.
Whether you're a seasoned jokester or someone who usually laughs from the sidelines, you’ll find your groove here. At Laugh Island, you won't just meet new people—you’ll create unforgettable moments together. Who knows... *Don’t wear your bathing suit… you will be wildly under-dressed.*
Wear clothes. And shoes, easy to move around in! This one will be a 35+ year group (we’re note too serious about this/it’s more of a guideline. If you are 33 and feel good about it, please register!)
We will have different iterations of the event (i.e. different age groups, queer-focused events, etc.
