About this Event

PLEASE READ IN FULL:

We’re excited to announce our first-ever Intro to Winter Camping at Lake Placid, co-hosted by our amazing partners, Adirondack Mountain Club and The Nature Conservancy of New York!

This is our second year at this stunning location, and we’ll be snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, building fires, making snowpeople, sleeping in yurts, practicing yoga, visiting the Village of Lake Placid, and more!

Transportation to/from Times Square & Lake Placid, lodging, food, licensed guides, and cost of gear for activities are all included and FREE for selected participants.

We have VERY limited space for this event, so please complete this interest form by Thursday, 1/30 to be considered (this does not guarantee you a spot on the trip). We’ll notify those who make our registration list and those who make our waitlist on Monday, 2/3. Past attendees to LO NYC events will be prioritized. Duplicate or incomplete survey information will automatically be declined.

This event is for adults 18 years+.

We will be sleeping in 2 insulated yurts that each have 8 bunk beds with twin-size mattresses . One yurt will be designated for women and the other will be co-ed. Bathrooms and showers are a very short walk from the yurts.
