Latin@xé Artists ATX: 1st Open-Mic Convivio

🌟🎤 Hola hola fellow Latina, Latino, Latinx, Latiné artists of the Austin/Central Texas area! This is your moment. Let’s celebrate each other’s creative journeys at our 1st ever open-mic convivio on September 30th! Your voice, your art, and your story matter; and when we come together, we amplify our art, our stories, and our voices. This Open Mic is a space to uplift each other, share our experiences, and honor our courage to follow our hearts. And so, vamos a convivir (let's gather) and shine, connect and inspire one another. ✨🎶🎨 #InspireTogether

This is what our evening will look like: We will feature five artists (previously signed-up) who will share either a song, a dance or other creative expressions. In between sets, we will turn the mic over to you to share where you are in your artistic journey. You get to spotlight you (totally voluntary). Perhaps you just booked a gig, or had your first exhibit, or you’ve decided to take a break and regroup, or you just moved to the Austin area and you have an idea of what you'd like to accomplish artistically. We are here for it and we want to hear it. Also an option: to come listen, hooray and support our featured artists; and come hear what other fellow Latina, Latino, Latinx, Latiné artists of the Austin/Central Texas area are doing.

Este es tu momento. ¡Celebremos los caminos creativos de cada uno de nosotros en nuestro primer convivio de micrófono abierto el 30 de septiembre! Tu voz, tu arte y tu historia importan; y cuando nos reunimos, amplificamos nuestro arte, nuestras historias y nuestras voces. Este Open Mic es un espacio para animarnos unos a otros, compartir nuestras experiencias y honrar nuestra valentía de seguir el llamado de nuestro corazón. Entonces, vamos a convivir para brillar, conectarnos e inspirarnos unos a otros. ✨🎶🎨 #InspireTogether

Así será nuestro convivio: contaremos con cinco artistas (previamente inscritos) que compartirán una canción, un baile u otra expresión creativa. Entre presentaciones, te entregaremos el micrófono para que compartas en qué punto de tu camino artístico te encuentras. Podrás destacarte (totalmente voluntario). Quizás acabas de tener tu primera exhibición, o has decidido tomar un descanso y reagruparte, o simplemente te mudaste al área de Austin y tienes una idea de lo que te gustaría lograr artísticamente. Estamos aquí para escucharte y celebrarte. También tienes la opción de venir a escuchar y apoyar a nuestros artistas destacados; y venir a escuchar lo que están haciendo otras artistas latinas, latinos, latinx y latiné del área de Austin/Central Texas.

We will have celebratory cake and fizzy's/iced tea/soft drinks to enjoy with the cake. (BYOB is also an option)

Space is limited. While spotlight is on Latina/o/x/é artists, invite your non-Latiné friend(s) to come support you and the Latinx artistic community.

$10 suggested donation to help support our artists.

El espacio es limitado. Si bien la atención se centra en los artistas latinas/o/x/é, invita a tus amiga/o/es no latinos a que te apoyen a ti y a la comunidad artística latina.
