Join us for our first Latin Night! We will be doing a Salsa & Bachata workshop hosted by Marco Salsa Buena AVL and other local instructors, followed by live music with La Sonora Carolina and then a DJ dance party with MTN Vibez to close the night out!
We'll begin at 7pm with three different two-hour workshops - salsa and bachata. The first hour is beginning level, the second hour is intermediate.
And we'll have tamales! Salsa verde, salsa roja, chicken and veggie tamal. Tamal is a traditional dish in Latino America, it’s a corn cake with chicken and veggies.
And then at 9pm the live music begins! La Sonora Carolina is a high-energy salsa orchestra bringing salsa dura classics to the Carolina mountains. With driving percussion, soaring horns, and soulful vocals, every show is a celebration of Latine culture sure to get you on the dance floor.
We shift into dance party mode at 11pm with DJ MTN Vibez playing different rhythms on salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia and more!
