Buffalo Rose is thrilled to present a very special evening of Latin Jazz with the Flatirons Jazz Big Band on Thursday, October 15th — a night of rhythm, color, and pure musical magic featuring one of Colorado's truly great jazz orchestras.
Drawing from the rich tradition of Latin jazz in the Big Band era, the Flatirons Jazz Big Band brings the irresistible sounds of mambo, cha-cha, bossa nova, and Afro-Cuban swing to the Buffalo Rose stage. These are the rhythms that set Havana on fire in the 1950s — the sound of Tito Puente, Pérez Prado, and Dizzy Gillespie — reimagined by one of Colorado's finest jazz ensembles.
To complete the experience, Buffalo Rose will be featuring special Cuban-inspired food and drink specials throughout the evening — mojitos, Cuban sandwiches, maduros and more — transporting you straight to the streets of Old Havana for one unforgettable night in Golden.
