Bachata Dominicana Copenhagen is a Copenhagen-based dance community dedicated to traditional Dominican bachata and merengue.
They focus on cultural roots, musicality, and the joy of social dancing.
The school offers classes, workshops, and socials for all experience levels.
Teaching emphasizes connection, communication, and personal expression.
At its heart, it’s a warm and inclusive space built around dance, culture, music, and community.
𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞:
Mette has been teaching dance since 2006. She fell in love with Dominican Bachata in 2020 and has since spent several months immersed in the Dominican dance communities. In 2022, she completed an instructor course with BachataDominicanaRD. Her focus is on personal style, connection, non-verbal communication, and cultural background.
