Join CURA and learn the art of Latin Dance from local legend Chiquy Mejia and the Chiqlets Dance Team! In this two class series, you will learn salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia, and cha cha in a welcoming and fun environment where no dance partner is required. Each 1-hour class will immerse you in the energetic music and rhythms that define latin dance. This class series is in conjunction with our upcoming salsa night "Noche Cubana" with Edgardo Cambon and Candela.

When: Tuesday Nov. 11th from 7:30pm to 8:30pm &

Thursday November 20th from 7:30pm to 8:30pm

Skill Level: Beginner

Price: $45 for two classes

About the Artist:

Chiquy Mejia, originally born in Caracas Venezuela, is passionate about dancing. She has worked for over 25 years in the entertainment business and 8 years as a ZIN Zumba instructor. Chiquy is well known in the Bay Area for her high energy and fun classes!
